Twisted Wish in Depth

The origin of the title to my blog "Twisted Wishes" comes from this piece. The influence and inspiration of what I paint or write comes from this piece. This piece is Twisted Wish; Juan Logan.
When my daddy did this piece, there was more in mind of course than just dipping the tip of a brush into paint and creating a twisted wish bone.
Could it be that my father was trying to convey the differences of our own wishes to those of politicians now and then, or of those that were apart of social movements that impacted us with or without little or larger change?
Could it be wishes that we felt were so vulgar and obscure, we needed to hide them for no one to see or lock them up in the back of our minds so that they couldn't/ wouldn't be disturbed?
Could it be that these were and are as small as sesame seeds, so small that one would think it wasn't much to share or expand on? Should it matter at all that we have these thoughts, these twisted wishes? Or that they should be exposed? These are yours. Who cares what someone will say, like or dislike. Be free with your thoughts, your mind and wishes. What could it be for yourself? I mean really, as I laugh out loud and say, everybody has them.
